Are you the next co-leader of a YCD chapter in your local community?
YCD is supporting youth in starting chapters across the United States, to support youth in advancing inclusion and justice in their local communities with our support! Each chapter will be led by two amazing youth leaders who are committed to social justice, and ready to learn and grow.
As a youth leader, YCD will train you to successfully lead your chapter, and two qualified adult mentors will support you along the way. This is a perfect opportunity to gain valuable skills and experience in leadership, facilitation, group engagement, and conflict resolution.
Primary Responsibilities of Youth Leaders
- Planning. Organizing and setting agendas for chapter meetings.
- Facilitation. Facilitate discussions on social justice issues.
- Manage group dynamics. Engage chapter members and manage conflict as it arises.
- Learn. Participate in leadership training from YCD to prepare you for success as a chapter leader.

We are currently accepting applications for youth leaders (ages 14-18) in the following communities:
- Colorado Springs, Colorado
- Fort Morgan, Colorado
- Summit County, Colorado
